Probiotics are definitely here to stay and can be found in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Until recently the only place you could find a probiotic was in particular foods mainly healthy ones that we consumed. Then manufacturers jumped on the bandwagon of probiotic usage and set about educating the general public on how good and relevant the use of probiotics are in today’s society. So off they went and produced in pill form products which offers billions and trillions worth of good bacteria for your digestive system. Probably until the pill form was manufactured people were most likely in the dark as to what good probiotic health was. Did we even know that there were tens of thousands of good bacteria in our bodies and if we don’t have such bacteria then chances are you could become ill with disease and infection? Now that we have been educated somewhat, more consumers are looking to include probiotics within their diet. For some they prefer to take a daily supplement of one pill per day others prefer to find it in the relevant natural foods. For the latter yogurt drinks have become extremely popular. We have all seen the ads for Danone and various other yogurt enterprises explaining why you should have a yogurt drink each and every day. True, it is indeed a benefit and can be quite pleasant to drink which in turn will furnish you with your daily quota of healthy bacteria. But what of those who can’t stand the taste of yogurt or who may have intolerances to dairy products and at the same time don’t wish to take their daily dose of probiotics in a pill form.
